Haely & Kayla are seniors at Lanesboro High School and yes for those of you wondering, they are twins. I had so much fun hanging out with them for their session. There was surely a plethora of sister talk, love and fun going on during this session.We started at the studio for hair and makeup with Andrea. I know you’ll all agree, she once again did an absolutely amazing job with these girls, glamming them up for their senior session!
Haely and Kayla grew up on a dairy farm. They’re very active in helping their parents run the farm, as well as FFA and showing off their two dairy cows, Kit Kat and Candy (Seriously, best names ever). In fact, they have plans to potentially run for Princess Kay of the Milky Way at the Minnesota State Fair this next year. Who knows, maybe you’ll be seeing their faces carved in butter!!
Because of their love for being outdoors in the country, I knew that we needed to spend the majority of their session in the great outdoors. So after spending a little bit of time in the studio and getting some of the more urban photos, we ventured out to the great outdoors.
The girls main request for their session was photos with Kit Kat and Candy. We met their parents near their farm with the two other leading ladies of the evening and I must say, Kit Kat and Candy have a pretty sweet life. They are definitely loved as part of the family … I mean, who else would brush, clean, wash, catch their poo in a bucket!?!?
As we wrapped up their session, it was clear, Haely and Kayla had spent their session, right where it needed to be … on the land they know best, with the other person (and animal) in life that knows them best. Congrats on your Senior year Haely & Kayla! Hopefully I’ll be seeing your smiling faces in that big ‘ole slab of butter this summer!
